Valheim Server Setup

Order Your Server
Visit the Valheim page on venomhosting.co.uk and click "Start Trial". Your 4-day free trial requires no payment details.

Configure Your Server
Enter a server name and password during checkout. These can be changed later from the game panel.

Review your order and confirm. Your server is created instantly — no waiting.

Access the Game Panel
Once your order is placed, access the game panel via the Services page on this website, or through the Game Panel link in the account dropdown menu at the top of the page.

Start Your Server
Your server starts automatically after creation. It will be online within 1–2 minutes. You can monitor the status and view the console from the game panel.

Get Your Server IP
Once running, your server address and port are shown at the top of the game panel dashboard — it will look something like
p1.venomhosting.co.uk:2456. Make a note of these.

Connect In-Game
Open Valheim → Start Game → select or create a character → Join Game → Add server → enter your server address and port → Connect. Enter your server password when prompted.

Invite Friends
Share your server address, port, and password with friends so they can join you using the same Add server option in the Join Game menu.

Advanced Settings (Optional)
To configure additional server settings such as the world name or public visibility, open the Startup tab in the game panel and adjust the environment variables there. Restart your server from the game panel afterwards for changes to take effect.
